The event will take place at St Ignatius University grounds in Kabale District, marking Gubazire’s formal assumption of leadership of the diocese.
The diocese’s Vicar General, Monsignor Dr John Vianney Sunday, said the funds would cater for the ordination and installation activities, as preparations gather pace for the ceremony.
He said the diocese expects a large congregation, including clergy, religious leaders, dignitaries and Christians from within and outside the diocese.
Gubazire’s installation will usher in a new chapter in the leadership of Kabale Diocese, where he is expected to oversee its pastoral mission and administrative affairs.
The ceremony is among the significant events in the diocese’s calendar, bringing together members of the Catholic community to witness the transition in its episcopal leadership.
